Five rings set with moissanite, $179 to $425. Moissanite is harder than most gemstones — 9.25 on the Mohs scale against a diamond's 10 — and it throws more coloured light than diamond does under the same lamp. Some people want exactly that; others find it too lively. It is worth knowing before you buy rather than after.

These are dainty settings: small stones on narrow bands, used as accents and centres in pieces where the metal does most of the work. Stone sizes are given in millimetres on each product page.

Moissanite is available as an upgrade on most of our settings, not only the five listed here. If you have found a ring elsewhere in the catalogue and want it in moissanite, write to us with the piece and the size and we will quote it.
