Thirteen stacking rings, $136 to $459. Stacking rings are made to be worn three and four at a time, so the things that matter are width and profile rather than the stone.
A stack that works has bands of different widths but the same profile — flat against flat, domed against domed — otherwise they rock against each other and wear at the contact points. Most of the bands here sit between 1.1 mm and 1.8 mm wide, which is narrow enough to wear three without the finger feeling crowded.
The group includes plain bands, twisted and braided ropes, chain-link bands, bamboo segments, and a few with small bezel-set stones spaced along the top. Ovals appear where there is a stone at all. Mixing metal colours across a stack is intentional here — yellow, white and rose are all available in the same designs.
Solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold, hallmarked, never plated and never gold filled. Plating fails first on stacking rings because the bands rub against each other all day.
