Seven rings with a marquise stone, $187 to $502. A marquise is pointed at both ends and set lengthwise, so it draws the eye along the finger rather than across it. For the same stone weight it covers more of the finger than any other shape, which is why it looks larger than it is.
The points are the weak spot. A marquise wants either prongs that cup the tips or a bezel that wraps them; left exposed, a point chips. Every setting here does one or the other, and each product page says which.
Stone sizes run from about 6 by 3 mm to 8 by 4 mm. Settings include plain solitaires, east-west bands where the marquise lies across the finger, and vintage galleries with milgrain edges. A few pair a marquise centre with round accents on the shoulders.
Solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, white or rose, never plated, hallmarked inside the band. AAA grade cubic zirconia as standard, natural stones on request. Cut and set by hand in our New Jersey studio in 6 to 9 business days, delivered 9 to 17 business days from order.
