Sixteen rings for August, $140 to $479. The August birthstone is peridot. Every ring here is set with AAA grade cubic zirconia in peridot green — that particular yellow-leaning green, not the stone itself.
Peridot is a difficult colour to match. It sits between olive and lime and it shifts under artificial light, which is why cheaper simulants read as flat green instead. The stones here are colour-matched batch to batch so that two rings bought a year apart still look like the same green.
Ovals dominate the group, mostly in vintage and art deco settings — raised galleries, milgrain edges, stepped shoulders. Stone sizes run from about 5 by 3 mm to 7 by 5 mm and are listed exactly on each product page along with band width and thickness.
Solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, white or rose, hallmarked inside the band, never plated. Natural peridot is available on request in most of these settings; write to us with the piece and the size and we will quote it.
