Six rings for September, $172 to $562. The September birthstone is sapphire. Every ring here is set with AAA grade cubic zirconia in sapphire blue — the colour, not the stone.
Sapphire blue covers a wide range in practice, from near-navy to a lighter cornflower. The stones here sit at the deeper end, which is the colour most people picture. Natural sapphire is one of the harder gemstones and would wear well, but it prices several times above these rings; if you want one set in the same mount, write to us and we will quote it.
The group runs across ovals, pears and marquise stones in vintage and art deco settings — raised galleries, milgrain, stepped shoulders. Stone sizes are given in millimetres on each product page, along with band width and thickness.
Solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, white or rose, hallmarked inside the band, never plated or gold filled. Each ring is cut and set by hand in our New Jersey studio after the order comes in, which takes 6 to 9 business days. Delivery lands 9 to 17 business days from order. Free sizing and engraving.
