One ring for June, $202 to $328. June has three birthstones — pearl, moonstone and alexandrite — which is more than any other month. The ring here reads moonstone white: AAA grade cubic zirconia, colourless, in an art deco setting with stepped shoulders.
Moonstone itself is soft, around 6 on the Mohs scale, and it cleaves along a plane, which makes it a poor choice for a ring worn daily. Pearl is softer still and does not belong on a hand at all in our view. That is why this collection is set the way it is — the colour without the fragility.
Stone size and band measurements are listed in millimetres on the product page. Alexandrite, the third June stone, changes colour between daylight and lamplight; a natural one costs more than most engagement rings, and we do not stock a simulant that claims to do the same thing.
Solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, white or rose, hallmarked inside the band, never plated. Made to order by hand in New Jersey in 6 to 9 business days, delivered 9 to 17 business days from order. This collection will grow.
